December 12-15, 2017 is the celebration of Simbalay Festival.
It was Tuesday afternoon after our afternoon class, we went to the town for the opening of simbalay festival together with my classmates, we walked along the road while talking and laughing with each other until we arrived to the down town where the festival was held. The town was very coward having unpleasant sound around. We started touring the festival and took pictures. As we tour the Simbalay festival, we find it very enjoyable and fun. It has a constellation art made with colorful umbrellas and different kinds of nipa house with their ravishing designs from different barangays of Nabunturan. We took a pictures and selfies at the simbalay festival moment. Among the competition of nipa house from different barangays, my bet is the nipa house from brgy. Manat because it has a beautiful quality, they have different kinds of fruits, well good on landscape. I also like the nipa house of brgy.Pangutosan because it was very unique, selling fruits and some handicrafts. Their nipa house also have a beautiful. The house was made of coconut. Their nipa house caught my attention it's very attractive to me.
